That's about right. April is the time when it turns nicer until mid October.

I actually start feeling a difference in mid-February. The days are already getting noticeably longer.

True, but April usually sees the first 70s unless it's last year.

Wow, we just got an inch of sleet turned to snow in less than an hour, the roads are nasty.

My DW came out of Lake Forest Park and hit a hailstorm around 5pm and I hit one coming into Mukilteo around 7pm... When we moved here I insisted that she get AWD. Came in very handy yesterday.

We ended up with 4-5" here in Sammamish, where there were multiple car wrecks and roads closed last night. I decided to work from home today, all that slush froze hard overnight and it's all down steep hills to the main arterial.

Umm...it's getting REALLY dry around these parts. No bueno. Fire season is going to be a rough one if this keeps up.

the new pattern the last few years is for wetter November-March and drier May-September. April and October can be either.

Default Just how miserable is the weather in Seattle?

Give me a bit of an overview. I currently live in Boston. Is it that bad? Worse? If I want to hike and get outdoors, how likely will I be able to do that?
