Yes it was. Nothing better than warm, sunny, and dry and then cooling down into the 50s and 60s at night. Get ready for it to be 80 at midnight.

Don't get me wrong though....I don't want it that warm all year. I do enjoy the seasons here, as long as it does not get too chilly.

Does Steve Jerve pay you to drop his name every post or what? We get it, you like Steve Jerve. I prefer Dave Osterberg for TV weather guys personally, but to each his own.

It is not factually incorrect at all, which you would know if you bothered looking at the data instead of parroting whatever the sensationalized TV weather guy said. Hurricane season is going to give you an aneurysm.

If the weather now has anyone excited, yes, hurricane season should blow their corks.

Never see any corks blow over cane season in this area. They seem to hate the Tampa area. I sure did enjoy 04 with the two state crossing storms that at least gave us some wind and rain. Lived here all my life and only 4 times since 1963 do i remember any kind of wind we got other than the cane of Sept 1985, the no name storm on March 13th 93 and the two state crossing storms of 04 that did effect OUR area. But this could be the year that does us in , or it could be another 50.

you *enjoyed* '04? It was like every weekend for nearly 2 months that we had to prepare for a storm, pack up the office, top off on supplies, hunker down and wait. And wait, and stress, and wait. Incredible season for sure, but I did not enjoy it at allllll.

Actually, I pay attention to a lot more than just Steve and have posted excellent links all over this forum. Facts are facts and they cannot be disputed, no matter how much some folks here want to. I mention Steve's name, simply because he is good, local and mentions things BEFORE certain people here do.

But believe whatever you like. Whatever floats your boat. I prefer factual and proven data from educated professional sources......as opposed to hyperbole written on calendars with crayons or makers.
