Let's get the sweep today!

Last night's victory was so much sweeter after we went up due to Texas putting Longo on first on an intentional walk...then Loney coming up with a shot over the LF's head!

Seems like all or nothing for these guys so far.

That blooper over Peralta's head that he got a piece of really hurt...should have been 3rd out but instead lead to a 2-run HR on a bad inside high fastball (meat) to the next batter.

2 out of 3 ain't bad, though.

wow - talk about a bad game to watch - and to blame people for not going to games? although the pitching was outstanding for most of the game, that was a pretty boring game to go see.....

BucFan, you mentioned $10.00 seats in an earlier post. I didn't see those on the Rays website, nor stubhub.
As someone who is relocating to Tampa...a big baseball fan...with plans to attend many games...can you tell
me where I can purchase tickets at that price point...or lower? The Braves actually make 1,000 $1.00 tickets
available before every game. It's rather low key, and requires getting to the ballpark early and only at 1 gate,
but obviously worth it! Do the Rays have anything similar?

Thanks...Paul

You can find them on Stubhub, often the day before the game, when they're playing less popular teams (like Minnesota, KC, Seattle) -- buy the cheap ones then move around to better seats as long at the section isn't monitored by an usher checing (I know, dishonest, but they don't mind - talked to my ticket rep about doing it this past weekend because they brought dogs into my section and didn't want to hear the barking).......doesn't work on the few games that there are sell outs.

Anyway, Rays have a flex pack ticket program -$49/3 games. Check out their site - but Stubhub is the site that often I find cheapest - just have to be relatively flexible and willing to buy late (ie the day before the game).

I just did a quick search of future games and see a few games near $10.....and most likely if you check the day before the game, they'll drop - Stubhub is programmed often to drop the prices (if the seller wants) the a day to two before the game.

Tampa Bay Rays tickets - Rays tickets on StubHub!

What do you recommend for the games against Boston or NY? Would I need to get tickets well in advance or would I still be able to get something closer to the day of?

I didn't really plan to see a Sox-Rays game but my vaca is falling around that weekend. So I just want to be prepared. Finally booked our flights over the weekend so it's official.

I'd buy tickets in advance for the NYY, Bosox, and some of the popular series - especially weekend games when it seems that the games are better attended (kids don't have school nights).
