Like I said, if you can't go North, East to Orlando is still a decent option. There will be a tropical storm there, but it won't be hurricane-force winds.

I'm going to tough it out in Fishhawk.

Prepping for a snow storm in New England was a "day at the beach" (hah!) compared to prepping for Ian.

Exactly. There is a major difference between a Cat 2 or 3 hurricane and a tropical storm. Not to mention, being on the gulf coast at 10 ft above sea level with expected 10ft storm surges vs being inland, downtown.

When is it NOT a parking lot?
Besides, I can always just go around and hit I-75 to 50.

It's over rover. Not much of anything north of Tampa as the track will be way southeast of me.

Well if the Euro model is correct, which it has been for days now; I agree.
While the track has now shifted roughly 50 miles south, the heavy rain is now centered from Tampa to Orlando; 2 feet! forecast in some areas will cause catastrophic flooding and road closures.

North is the way to go, due north and west towards Tallahassee.
