I'd like to Attend - Need Info
Hi All, by next Spring I'm sure to be in TN. Would love to attend, but we need to narrow down time, place, agenda, etc. and have people follow through on their committment to attend. Type of meeting, where, food each will bring, activities, length of event, any other suggestions?
It was earlier suggested that there be old-fashioned games which I think are great. There may be those who don't want to participate, but they don't have to. I'm sure it'll be a hoot just to watch those who are participating.
Let's try to schedule this so all of us have time to put it on our calendars. Come on y'all, let's get to know each other in person and have a good time.
I'm so looking forward to meeting all of you nice people who have either helped me or others, or are asking for info about the place we love - Tri-cities. We do have those things in common and I'll bet we'd have a crazy, fun time getting to know each other!

I am still entertaining 13 holiday guests -WHEW- so I did not take the time to go back through the posts on this thread. A weekend day (preferably Saturday to avoid Sunday worship service conflicts) would be the most logical.
I, for one, think that once that date is solidly set, we can get started on making a list of who will attend, bring what dishes or condiments, and what events we would like to include. (TriDad is very anxious to go into the drunk tank - er, dunk tank!) And, the egg toss is a given!
So, in April we have Saturday, April 12, 19, or 26. Does it make sense to have each attendee vote on a date and use the following Saturday as a rain date? Or have it on the most favored day no matter what the weather?
How about a little discussion from those who plan on attending to get the ball rolling. We retirees need lots of advance notice to accommodate our hectic schedules. lol.
I would vote for April 19 just for the sake of starting things off, but we are very flexible.
