Your best hamburgers were made in the cafes back in the old days before fast food was even around... Yes "cafes" not restaurant.

They probably still are, if you can find one. BTW Whataburger has gone downhill a lot in 30 years. They used to be great!

There is a company in Houston's Chinatown area too that manufactures fortune cookies for Chinese restaurants all over the US.

I agree with you on that, I tried to contact them and ask why they changed and that they need to go back but I couldn't contact them for some reason on their site.... BUT I still like them better than anyother HB that I have tried from a fast food....

My wife and I had a HB on the Strand (Galveston) one Sunday and it was made like the old ones...I asked them to please never change it....
