Oh, I get it now. The virus struck and the "prior Mentally-Ill Idiot" (as you refer to President Trump) didn't snap his fingers and magically whisk the virus away. Even you know better than that so I guess you're saying you're mad because he didn't kiss it and make it all better before everyone else in the whole wide world could blink their eyes. Got it! Thanks for clarifying.

"limit the voter franchise"? How so? Do you think something is wrong with requiring I.D? Do you want non citizens determining who will be your governing officials?

"rather than enlarge it"? What are you talking about? Just who isn't allow to vote when they are legally eligible to do so? (Note: you have always had to qualify to vote so nothing has changed here). No one is limiting anyone who is eligible to vote from voting. Are you mad because your doggie or your kitty cat won't be able to vote? Maybe your dead uncle?

If you're having a problem with voter I.D. I would have to surmise you are angry about not being able to take advantage of the system or else you're not a citizen your own self.

I am not really a fan of Abbott but I do support some of his decisions and feel he does a good job overall. I do think he really does value personal freedom over everything else but he may have to step back on the no mask mandate thing at some point, not that I want him to....but you know...lots of pressure out there on him.

There is a lot to be said about a man who will keep on living life and working for Texans after a personal tragedy when he got paralyzed years ago. He could have just felt sorry for himself and taken a different direction. Much respect to him for that.

Personal freedom over everything else including children under 12 who cannot be vaccinated and there are few alternatives? Sorry but I can’t agree with that.

As your hero would say, "hey man, get your facts straight". Texas actually ranked forty-fourth in the United States for voter turnout in the 2016 presidential election. Low, but not last unless you believe the US is made up of 44 states, which if that is the case then you would be right!

No, I do not know what you are talking about. Could you be insinuating they are trying to make it so minorities can't vote? They can vote same as anyone else. That's right, every eligible voter has the same rights as the next guy.

Just what is it exactly you are so opposed to? I could be wrong but I believe there is still mail-in voting, still early voting, still help with voting for the handicap and I'm sure I'm forgetting something, but Lordy man, if you are an eligible voter, not a damn thing stopping you from voting.

Sounds like you want to be chauffeured in a limo to the polling place, served refreshments while you fill out you ballot, served more treats on your chauffeured ride home.

Such BS. You can still vote just like any other eligible voter, no one's stopping you. You want it easier for ineligible (all the causes for ineligibility are listed and I don't believe they have changed or have they? I'd have to check that out to be certain) voters.

Look at you! You don't recognize the difference between a correction and a brag. No wonder the voting rules have you so stumped.

So what is it you have against the bill? You keep using the word suppression so why not define what you are talking about in the bill that is so suppressing as you see it?

I see you don't take too well to being corrected. Oh well, ok by me but seeing as how you are this sensitive, I suggest getting your facts right so you won't have to worry about being so offended again.

How does it impose additional burdens (? still unclear on these so-called burdens) on population centers and people of color? Are you saying it doesn't impose the same burdens (again ? burdens) on people not of color (I guess we might say) who live in the same population centers? It sounds like you are just making stuff up to be argumentative.

Democrats have long cited the state’s shifting demographics as evidence that its future is blue. The influx of blue voters that have been surging into the state has definitely made a mark but did you know Hispanic Texans were responsible for half of that increase in population growth Quote from the Texas Tribune "Texans of color accounted for 95% of the state’s population growth. The 2020 census puts the state’s population at 29,145,505 — a 16% jump from 25.1 million in 2010. Hispanic Texans were responsible for half of that increase".

Joe Biden has not fared as well among Latino voters in the polls as he hoped. I know several Hispanics and they all voted for Trump. None of them were ok with allowing the illegal immigrants into the country. They are all hard working, tax paying citizens and you bet, they vote.

Since I have other things to do I am not going to argue with you indefinitely going over and over the same tired subject.

You are positive 'they' are out to 'get you and yours' and so be it. No amount of discussion is going to change what you believe and I'm perfectly fine with how you think as long as you get your facts straight.

Correction: I changed my mind. I don't care if what you state is true or untrue or whatever fabrications you might come up with. I'm tired and bored with it so stick a fork in me, I'm done.
