The McDonald's in Downtown Dallas is near the Greyhound Bus station, makes perfect sense and is owned by a local if memory serves...however just across from there will soon be Belo Garden:

. . . . . That Greyhound station is still up? I didn't even notice.

I didn't even know bus (specific) stations were still around.

I'm talking about an urban lake right in between downtown and uptown.

MacD in SanFranciso, China Town...

Another one in SF...

They are everywhere.

Most downtown areas in Texas cities have vacant parking lots. A MacD restaurant is clearly a higher use of the land then a parking lot.
