Can we expect the 2020 Camry traditional gas vehicle will also be better quality? They've had some problems with the new eight-speed transmission, and I'm hoping that and any other issues will be fixed on the 2020 since it will be the third year of the redesign. It seems it certainly can't hurt to wait for the 2020, which I believe will be available for purchase next month. Thanks.

Let’s see... the transmission blows, the transfer case moo’s (moans), the engine drones with low performance, the overall cars is noisy, the seats are uncomfortable, it is uncontrollable in a simple emergency maneuver and the fit and finish is sub par.

I’d say this model, along with the identical drivetrain in the Camry, is a big miss.

Very unusual for Toyota. I’m not a Toyota hater at all and in fact was really considering the Camry V6 as our next car but can’t get over that ugly snout. Also don’t like the looks of this RAV4 but when it came out thought it would be the big solid and dependable hit that the previous versions have been. Hopefully they can fix its flaws quickly.

2020 Subaru Outback XT (Turbo). CVT and all. Same price for a bigger, better equipped and better driving crossover.

I’m also going to wait several months to a year though to gauge this brand new version and let them iron out the kinks that exist in almost all newly redesigned models.

It's because Toyota has decided to cheapen the quality and reduce curb weight in order to fulfull MPG requirements. More MPG = Less Durable.
