I was talking about the city as a whole, not downtown per se, even though downtown started moving into a more positive direction the last few years and especially recently. There are new art galleries, stores, and restaurants open. The separation between Congress and 4th Ave is really dumb. Once they connect it'd be nice and I believe more businesses and residents will be attracted there.

A lot more businesses have been brought to town since I first moved here. Granted, due to the recession many folded as well, but that's nothing Tucson-specific. I was looking for a store in the directory of the Biltmore Fashion Park in Phoenix and the vacancy rate was scary. And that's a really nice place in a good location...

Darn, when I can't go to my fun forum, I sit here discussing Tucson!

Hey! This IS the fun forum... as long as we pay no mind to the self-serving missionaries from Utopia!

Although, I guess blasting men all day long... and then well into the wee hours of the following morn, could be fun...

Evidently you're not familiar with my posts, ZP. I don't blast men. Many times I take their sides (if it's warranted, of course ) and quite often share secrets with them other women don't.

Besides, the nature of the forum is irrelevant. I almost never respond to stupid whining anyway. It's just a fun group of people and we look for excuses to goof around mostly off-topic.
