I thought it was one of the most well-acted and written series that I have ever seen on television. The moodiness and the intensity of time and place. I will miss those characters ; the ending showing us the real Rosie was so poignant that I had to rewatch it on On Demand the next day.

The writers really good job bringing the audience to the point of feeling like they knew Rosie....
even though she wasn't even really a character on the show. I hope it opens the door for
more quality crime dramas on TV without feeling the need for everyone involved to look like a
model. They kept it real.
I love subtitles, it forces me to pay full attention and I hate dubbing, I won't watch anything dubbed, I feel like I need to hear the original actors tone of voice even if I don't understand the language, so much emotion is in how we speak, not just what we say. I think that's why many deaf people think the hearing speak like robots, because they can't hear how we change our tone of voice to convey emotion, so they assume we are not expressing emotion.
That's a shame. The reason had to have been because they used two full seasons to bring the story to a conclusion and not a very exciting one, I might add. Guess we'll just have to endure more reality shows where the cameras follow a bunch of wannabe celebrities around while they do absolutely nothing except make fools of themselves

The ratings really fell off during the second season. I watched it 'til the end, but, only because I felt I needed closure. I seriously doubt that I would have watched another season. There are way too many better scripted options available.
I do wish the original and British versions were available somewhere like Netflix.
I would like to compare. I know they are probably somewhere but I don't particularly like to watch on my netbook or get a virus.
