I really like Danielle and I like when Blake has her sing the older songs. I think she does a really nice job and it is good to hear them again.
I also like Michelle and while her clothing may be boring, I like her voice. This is, after all, The Voice.
I didn't like the Swon Brothers in the early stages but they have grown on me, and I think I like the dark haired brother a bit better. His voice seems a bit stronger with more personality to it.
I think I probably liked they and Holly about the same but if I had to choose between the two, I would have kept TSB.
Old time true country music still has a following, and the Swon Brothers know it. Crazy is old time pure country too, and everyone loves that song. Some country fans are tired of people who tried to make it in pop music and "settle" for the country style. Many of today's country artists are not really country; they are just faking it to make it. I personally like "new country", but my older family members don't. They loved Amber singing Crazy and the Swon Brothers singing Okie.
Notwithstanding the name of the show, it's a visual medium and stage presence matters. Otherwise it could just as well be a radio show.
Exactly ^^^ Plus it's getting to the point where it's more and more competitive - doing something different could give her even more of an edge.
Also agree with Georgianbelle about the old time country - Blake has been smart about pushing his artists to do a lot of these songs. However, I would really like to see him give Danielle something fresh and young instead all the oldie moldie Pam Tillis stuff. She's just a kid - let her be one for a change!
It is hard to predict who will leave next - at one time I would have thought the Swons but now not so sure. I do think they have built a following as the weeks have progressed. As much as I love Amber and Sasha, they don't seem to have quite the number of fans. There is something not quite connecting about either of them (although I really love their voices) I guess I would not be surprised to see one of them be the next to leave.
Well, Cassadee Pope, who won last year for Team Blake, is releasing a country album. Don't know if Blake had any influence here, but he may take her on tour any time!
Cassadee Pope was at the CMT awards last night here in Nashville and she is not very good live (IMO). Not sure country is the right genre for her.
Agree with you, gypsychic, about Amber and Sasha not quite connecting with the audience. I wouldn't be at all surprised if either of them went home before the Swon Brothers. In fact, I (being a fan of the Swon Brothers) would like to see that happen!

I agree, she was the weakest link of the CMT awards. Also she was trying to be the social media person and that sort of fell flat.
I am happy to read some nice comments here about the Swon Brothers, on "The Voice" Facebook page there is not a whole lot of love for them. They have greatly improved. I remember when Blake saved them and many thought he was out of his mind, but Blake had a vision for them.
I love her too! She has really turned into such an amazing talent since Idol. Sometimes Danielle reminds me of her and sometimes Amber reminds me of her. I think they both can make it in country. I have seen Carrie in concert and she puts on a great show.
Really looking forward to Monday night!
