I was amazed that Mycle was 40. He looks about 20-25 to me. He was really good, too. I was surprised they were fighting for the girl who sang "The Climb" (was that Joselyn?) She seemed a bit pitchy to me, and her voice wasn't that pretty.
First season I have watched the Voice. I figured the hype from the X Factor, I had to watch it (The X Factor). I couldn't sit through the entire show. HORRIBLE.
So of course I had to tune into The Voice. SO MUCH BETTER! I love that most everyone that comes up has a decent voice, they have to be invited onto the show.
Last night I was surprised by some of the singers they picked, they didn't sound great. But, I can't sing so not one to talk!
Sometimes I think they purposely pick a few singers who aren't as good because so many have to be eliminated anyway that they won't be a great loss. KWIM?
I hated Lorraine's personality too. I had to leave during her little bit about her life. Ick, I just can't stand excessively loud overbearing people.
This team of judges has gelled so well together (I remember I had some doubts the first season) that I think they should just get a new set of 4 judges for next season and let this whole team take off to do their other stuff. Then they can all come back fresh the following season.
Is it just me, or is Carson the worst, robotic, host of all time? He adds absolutely NOTHING to this show and his outbursts in the waiting room with the families are laughable they're so bad. Holding up 4 fingers and saying "All 4" while the family is watching it unfold on the TV is ridiculous.
He's almost like subtitles for people that can't understand how The Voice works. And I'm sorry, but I highly doubt there's anyone out there that doesn't understand how it works.
He's just so stiff and uncomfortable looking. This is season 3, he should have gotten more comfortable by now. I don't remember him being this hard to watch on TRL.
Couldn't agree more with you skeeter about carson. He adds nothing and doesn't even fit in the flow of the show very well - it's like he's odd man out or something.
Agree about Carson. He acts strange. He's over effusive when a judge picks someone's loved one. I'm afraid he's going to knock someone down to get to them to hug them!
What is up with this show? They skip over showing some of the people they picked throughout and show some of the ones that didn't do as well. Either that, or it is just me losing my mind and missing half the show....

I guess both of us need to pay better attention because there are some on teams that I have no recollection of seeing either.
