I really enjoyed that group performance with Terry, Nicholas, Melanie and Cody. First time they did one that each and every one sounded good and didn't try to drown out the other. Very enjoyable to me.
It was great - so much so, I would pay money for that. They were so much better as a group than as singles, even though I like them all as singles. They should make a group!

yeah, that quartet doing the Plain White Ts song was really the 1st group performance that I've liked that I can remember in either this or AI ......... I've always pretty much detested the rushed group stuff
as for melanie - she has a ton of soul, even if she doesn't have a big voice
don't confuse belting big notes and emoting in a big way for having soul or being the only manifestation of soul ...... she has that smokey, potentially haunting kind of soul about her ........ still very raw, but it definitely does come through in an ability to connect to a song and let that song breath through her performance which is very much a part of soul

I actually enjoy christina on the show ... will be interesting to see her comments now that she has no team ... i think she was bracing for it though and new he was in trouble ... should also put the conspiracy theories to bed
