Mark, I just looked up caltrop - you are right, that is exactly what it is. To disable a vehicle, I assume. I'm not very up on weaponry.

I figured the contraption was to disable a vehicle, looked like what you see police use in road blocks.

With all the attention the ice cream truck got, I'm guessing Mike is going to ambush the driver.

If so he's got even bigger cajones than Salamanca ever imagined. I thought he might set the truck up to be stopped and searched, but for him to snatch it, YIKES!

As tough as he is, I still feel sorry for him. His character strikes me as very sad and lonely, except for the love of his granddaughter and her mom. But that is something.

What good would that be? The truck was already taken and extensively searched and nothing was found. I guess there is some kind of false bottom on the floor of the truck to transport drugs since you hear the impact wrenches whizzing as soon after they pulled the truck in the gangsters garage.

Yeah, wherever it is, even the dogs didn't detect it.

I don't know, but, stranger things have happened. We'll find out soon enough, I haven't a clue about what's in wild man Mike's head, whatever it is I'm sure it'll be fun to see how it plays out.

I never watched one episode of Breaking Bad (yeah yeah,I know--I've heard--it's really really good--we just never watched it).

That being said--I love Better Call Saul. We're addicted to it. Binge watched the entire first season. Great characters, great dialog, great plot. I wasn't looking for action and had no preconceived ideas about any of the characters, so maybe that is key.

I guess after this season, we'll watch Breaking Bad on Netflix, but then will I be disappointed with Better Call Saul?

Who knows.. By the time you got to the last episode of BB, which.. IMO is the perfect television finale... You might.. But.. I'll be honest, if I were you, at this point.. I'd wait another 3 years or however long BCS runs before watching Breaking Bad.

I think they'll flow quite nicely.. You're getting to see the development of Saul without fully knowing where he winds up.. I think you have an advantage over all of us that have watched BB. If you can withstand watching BB until BCS ends.. Do it.
