Now, the show was Jon and Kate plus 8, it is now Kate plus 8 (I mean, really it is). I say TLC should pay them off, let them go back into their private lives and try to heal. It is no longer entertainment; it is an American tragedy and I am feeling quite voyeuristic when watching.
Indeed....I get no entertainment watching the kids' family disintegrate.

I wondered what J&K would say and I found out.

My mind wandered to the Crooked Houses. They seemed too small to me. Kate had valid reasons for a change in the location.

The escorting of the children into the restaurant for brunch was odd, jmo.

The kids wore cute clothes.

And of course another montage of 'How We Were'.

I assume the following 30 + episodes will be similar.

If you're a cheater, it's your own character flaw. ;-)
It is what it is. Has nothing to do with me. As I pointed out, both have cheated, allegedly. I know why Jon ran off, and I guess Kate felt she should do the same, even though she drove him away.

It's gonna be hard to find someone else. One, she has the eight kids. Sorry, but that's a detriment if you're trying to find someone. Two, by now, people who don't even watch the show on a regular basis know who she is, and what kind of person she is. It would take a special kind of dude to want to attempt something with her with all that against her. Sadly, I think she's just gonna be good for a roll in the sack.

Thumbs down whatever!

Anyone else notice that they "would both do anything for their children"?

anything except grow up and full fill their vows before God.

You are STILL giving this "man boy" Jon a pass for cheating!!!
Sorry, but that is absurd - there is NO excuse for cheating - NONE.

This show shoud have been named "Kate plus 9" - because he has probably been just like a child from the day they met. She was most likely the same domineering person she is when they met. The problem is this kind of behavior (from both of them) cannot last! And unfortunately, men seem to get a pass when they never grow up and change.

Jon is a childish man and it appears he is dreaming of the day he is single again. He sounds like a man that loves his kids, but just doesn't want the responsibility of being strapped down with them full time. Jon should have "manned up" and taken some responsibilty the day he became a father with child 1. But no, he continued to play this role and Kate's role became that of his mother. She bosses him around because he wants to. Her role and b**** demeanor probably worsen becuase of his lack of support and help. I would be militant too if I had the responsibilty of 8 children plus 1 immature adult to raise.

I have do doubt that Kate was the one that signed up for this show. Maybe she thought her public lashing of him would force him to change his childish ways, but it didn't. He still can't see what a slacker he is. Probably because he reads blogs and sees that the majority "loves to hate" Kate. Her unpopularity on this show has given him validation in some twisted way.

Again, I give neither one of them a pass for the behaviors. What I find is appauling is that Jon seems to get sympathy because of Kate's over the top behavior.

I wonder how they will implement the plan for Jon to have days in the house with the kids requiring Kate not to be present.

Will she have to have a second home?

Doesn't she want to go to Jon's apartment to snoop when he has the kids? The should be forced to stay married. No, really they need to grow up and get the cameras out of their lives.

I can't believe these leeches on society continue to get freebies. Why doesn't the owner of the Crooked Houses company go donate some of those houses to poor kids whose parents can't afford nice things for their kids? How about donating them to kids of troops killed in Iraq? No, they hand out freebies to the millionaire Gosselins....

This show needs to die already. I think this show can be summed up in one picture:

I don't see it that way. He has always been there taking care of the kids. Now that the shows aren't so much the family at home doing normal every day things, it is hard to tell how hands on he is. I don't see him turning into an "absentee father" though.
