Somebody just posted in the NYC forum that PV is looking to film in our area. They want first time home buyers who are mortgage approved to appear on the show.

Pretty neat.
I know, I would love to meet Sandra, but since I agree with her on most things, and get her logic, as I am an accountant.... **yawn** I would be a boring person....but my partner on the other hand could seriously "turn it out", now that, could be scary !!!....but I already own a Co-Op so I guess that lets me out............**drats**** stomps feet and has tantrum !!!
Love this show. Every show I have seen was in Canada, I didn't know she did a season in the states.
She has done several shows in the States here. But I actually like the Canada episodes. Canada is truly a beautiful place, I would like to go at sometime. I wish she would do a show from St Johns Newfoundland, as for some reason I have a fixation about it ever since I googled it and found out hopw breathtaking beautiful the country side is.
Ok, so I don't know if you've seen the previews for the new season... There's a new host!!
Her name is Egypt... something, and even though I haven't seen the show yet I have the feeling I won't like her that much... Of course I'll have to see before judging, but still, I'll miss Sandra...

I saw that too and thought the exact same thing. Sandra she is not!!!
You might have reworded it, nightcrawler... brilliantly!
Seriously, some people really need to reevaluate their expectations when purchasing a house. And remember to keep their budget in mind as well.

I was never under the impression that the PVs actually thought they could buy in their ideal neighborhood. A lot of the time they don't look at all surprised at the prices. That's my interpretation anyway.

Bummer. I like Sandra!
She takes them to the neighborhoods they love and when she starts talking to them, I believe they are starting to "get" it that yeah, this is a nice neighborhood, but we cannot afford it.....
so they have to trek on over to a less trendy hood and hope for the best..............
what is this about Egypt ??/ who????, Sandra, sorry, but I must have Sandra.......
Sandra is thee most likeable person on the whole entire HGTV network............
