I finally got a chance to watch the last episode and I loved it as well. Lafayette and his dance was hysterical. I love Eric's character, always so composed. I am with the people who are over the whole Maryann storyline. They are dragging it out, and I'm so not interested in it. Some good theories have been posted here about Daphne and Sam, things I never thought about. Can't wait till Sunday!
I loved the episode last night, although by the appearance of that vampire chick towards the end, I could tell how she's going to affect Bill & Sookie's relationship, big time.

Of course, She is Bill's maker. Speaking of Makers, what was Eric's maker? Persian? My roommate thinks he is Aztec.

I didn't read the series, but I found this excerpt from the book. Also read he might be Roman. The necklace did lean towards South American.
The character Godric is described in Living Dead in Dallas as: "An ancient teenager. He was blond and shirtless, and his arms and chest were covered with blue tattoos. In human years, he would've been about sixteen when he'd been made vampire. There was no telling how many years ago that had been. He must be older than Stan, older than Isabel. His English was clear, but heavily accented. I had no idea what kind of accent it was. Maybe his original language was not even spoken anymore. What a lonely feeling that would be. He has pale blue eyes and is a child killer."
I loved Jessica's teenage response to Bill when she was reprimanded for her room service order. You'll be sorry when I develop an eating disorder.
it was good to get the "backstory" of eric last night.
