Yes, that's what I remembered - Danny & Allison had had their birthdays and so the clip was concentrating on them (and maybe encouraging fighting or acting silly). I did NOT remember though how diligent Adam was with actually trying to make a cake following the recipe. Awww he is so diligent in everything! And strategic. As if he's a hundred years older than the "kids" around him. Probably he is? (since crossing over to the dark side )
Thanks Tiger Lily! No wonder I didn't remember Adam in the fight - he wasn't in it. Now here's something weird -- they show them finishing mixing the cake and Matt getting frisky with the flour. THEN - in what seems like the very next minute, they show Matt with a completely baked and frosted cake in his hands, throwing it. So - either there was already a cake there for this little bit, OR this whole food fight thing lasted more than an hour (which would explain the $6,000 bill.)
Yeah - Adam isn't having any of it. He does think strategically. "Let's see, do I want a video of me acting like a moron being replayed on YouTube when I'm 80?" Matt was actually the one who started it. But Gokey took it a step further. Oh, and Kris and Allison did some damage to a very expensive camera with that sugar frosting. That could put some nasty little scratches on highly sensitive equipment. Kids.

Sorry. Why is this a surprise to anyone? I like his singing, and he's right, this has nothing to do with his voice or his performance.
I guess until someone openly admits, there's always room for speculation. Just like Clay clung to his "secret" for so long. Even a while after the children he made with a friend. I suppose many, many ladies just hoped for a tiny possibility that Adam may be swayed
