So. NBC has announced that it is shutting down Chopping Block IMMEDIATELY and will not be showing any more episodes. They will fill the slot with some Law and Order rerun.
It looks like those of us who were watching it are just SOL. We don't matter. We'll never find out who won, or how any of the rivalries were resolved or not resolved.
The logical part of my brain cannot figure out why NBC wouldn't show the rest of the Chopping Block if the shows were already made. It makes me wonder what the heck happened in those episodes that NBC doesn't want us to see. Bummer!
I gotta say, whatever the chef's name is - he looks greasy.
Marco Pierre White. Looks greasy, but apparantly, he's a world renowned chef.
I agree, why would you cancel a competition half-way through? It's not like the contestants are being paid by the episode? I'm wondering if it's something they don't want us to see later, maybe someone got seriously hurt?
UPDATE: I just read that NBC is releasing the last 5 episodes online through Hulu. So although it doesn't look like they will be releasing them on TV, fans can still finish the series to see who wins.
I caught it and I think he sent the wrong couple home. I hope the loudmouth goes home next week, because she is really getting on my nerves. She overpowers everyone and she talks a big game, but she can't deliver. Then, to make matters worse, she thinks she's all that. He should have sent her home for the simple fact that she hasn't taken the initiative and become head chef. She must be nuts to think she can sit back and let everyone lead, while she walks to the victory. It won't happen and I hope her team loses next week so she can go home.
