I thought the girls did far better last night than the guys did tonight. None of the guys, except perhaps for Casey James were nearly as good as Lilly Scott (the gray-haired girl) or Crystal Bowersox were.

Casey James blew me away in terms of both looks and his performance, but I really, really like the voice of Lee Dewyze (I think that's the Chicago guy), even though the song wasn't the best as the judges said. I also like Aaron Kelly a lot. Like Andrew Garcia's voice too, but hated the song he did tonight. And I agree with the poster who said he looked like a Hispanic Danny with the glasses.

Agree -- and what was that hullaballoo last week about Michael getting kicked off the show for his dad telling the media he was in the top 24? I thought that kid they brought back was in place of Michael. It's too confusing this year. Too many side stories. No one so far has made me go - WOW. I'll watch one more week. If it doesn't pick up, I gots better things to do.

The girls did fairly bad. The guys were terrible. Worst season of American Idol I have seen so far. I hope it turns around.

If this keeps up (the lack of singing ability), I might have to stop watching. BORING BORING BORING singers. Even Big Mike was boring.

Casey was ok. He wasn't bad, I just wish he'd put more umph into his performances.

Andrew looks like a Hispanic Danny w/ those glasses and hairstyle.
I was wondering if it was just my TV...the sound has been terrible! Breaking up, singers voice very soft compared to the music.

I wasn't impressed with any of the guys either. This season is really not shaping up to be very good. I hope they all get better with a little more time.

I thought maybe I was just losing interest...I'm glad to see that might not be the case.

So far I'm not impressed.

I just keep wondering how such a bunch of bad singers ended up in the top 24?
I like about 5 of them and wish we could of heard some that were sent home instead of all the weird ones in the beginning. I am so glad to be able to fast forward through all of that drama but really think a lot of good people probably went home because of new judges.

Last season you had that crazy rocker dood(the guy that should have won but didnt) that screamed songs but he was incredible and unique. He was fun to watch because you knew he would do something crazy with the song. So far this season everyone is vanilla.

Out of all of them last night that guy from Chicago with the guitar was the best out of a boring lot. Absolute snooze fest this season....
