I find it strange how Tyler's wikipedia page says its located in "East Central Texas". Its nowhere near central texas in my opinion, not even the eastern part. If anything it MAY be in Central EAST Texas, or simply in East Texas, but East Central texas is inaccurate to me.

Yep, agreed, I even add, Northeastern Texas sometimes in explaining, to me it's more Northern in the Eastern part of Texas, Northeast, than Central East Texas. Slow news night, lol

We live in Chandler, which is only 8 miles west of Tyler, and Henderson County is lumped in with central Texas in all the weather apps, news feeds, etc. It's weird to me to get central texas alerts when I feel like I live in northeast Texas!
