This is a previous post. Does this mean that we will all get this new extension regardless if we are on Tier 1 or Tier 2 that will exhaust in early 2010? This statement says we will be grandfathered into this extension regardless of the deadline. Please, someone comment.
johnny hello
you have to START an extension before dec 26 or you get no EUC extension at all
the EB may continue into 2010, no one knows for sure yet

Hello, that is what I thought, but got confused after reading that as it says we would be grandfathered into this even if the deadline has not been extended. Do you read it that way?

i think they meant grandfathered into benefits still being paid after jan 1.
but they are only paid after jan 1 if you started tier 3 before dec 26.

That's fine. I am one of the lucky ones out there, because I do have a husband making a good salary. There are people out there very bad off because of this economy. Single mom's, dad's who support their families etc. It's not easy. But being married and counting on 2 salaries, it is not easy when one person loses their job, especially when you have a mortgage to pay off. Bu thankfully this extension will give all of us time to find some sort of a job out there. Good luck to you and everyone else.
