As an annoying Yankee, I heard a joke about both about each other.

The US is to Britain, its loudest, biggest, brashest, most annoying offspring.
Britain to the US is its largest, most scenic aircraft carrier.

I would love some day to visit and walk the entire Southwest Coast Path. Yes all 600+ miles.
