Three inches reported for here, which seemed pretty accurate. I'd say at least half has melted already.

Updated:

Snowfall total maps

Here's one version of the actual totals (I think there was more ) Same link as above.

Here's another version through NWS Burlington but only covers their area.

No way even near record monthly snowfall records. Burlington needs 8 inches in April just to get into the Top 20. They only have 3.5" this April.

As far as daily records.. Never had that much snow for yesterdays date

A RECORD SNOWFALL OF 2.1 INCH(ES) WAS SET AT BURLINGTON VT
YESTERDAY, APRIL 26TH. THIS BREAKS THE OLD RECORD OF 0.6 INCHES
SET IN 1919.

A RECORD SNOWFALL OF 2.2 INCH(ES) WAS SET AT PORTLAND ME TODAY.
THIS BREAKS THE OLD RECORD OF 1.9 SET IN 1887.

I'm not sure if it's true or not but it felt like we had more snow in April than in January this year.

lol. Unfortunately only 1 station in Vermont records official snow totals. Burlington: So it's VERY likely other areas had more or less.

But for BTV ...

October 2015: Trace
November 2015: 0.2"
December 2015: 7.1"
January 2016: 13.1"
February 2016: 8.6"
March 2016: 1.8"
April 2016: 3.5"

Season Total 34.3"

January's normal snowfall is 21.1" so January was 38% below normal.
April's normal snowfall is 4.6" so this month is 24% below normal.

11am map. Moderate rains in NY and MA and entering VT now.

30°F on the rock (Mt Washington)

And Washington DC ends their 60 less streak at 126 hrs (5 days 6 hrs). They hadn't been at 60° since last Wednesday at 5am. Normal high is low 70s!

In the 40s outside here, I got the wood stove on.

Pattern not changing soon either. We're in an Omega Block Pattern. Same pattern 2 weeks ago but opposite results now. Should be like this at least another week. Feels like November! Burning firewood like it too.

Remember 2 weeks ago we had the long stretch of dry, warmish, and sunny days? Ridge was over us. Now the ridge is in Central U.S instead and we're inside the trough.

BTW .. With the Polar Jet Stream still swinging around, except more 30s at night and maybe some 20s around Next Monday and Tuesday morning.

Canadian model had a snowstorm for the White mountains in NH but I'm not buying that yet.
