From what I can tell it looks like it will be mostly rain for us down here, we're staying in the mid 30s Sat night. Elevation of course will probably be snow....I think they got 2-3" overnight and it seemed like it was snowing there during the day today as well. They are thrilled with this early start I'm sure!

Here's some reports of past 24hrs to time of report shown.. "Total Snow" is actually what was on the ground at time of report.

Column under "New Snow" and the snowflake is what fell. Some melt that snow to get the liquid amount.

Like in Waterbury, 1.4" of snow melted to 0.19" liquid. Thats heavy wet 7:1 ratio snows. Looks like some rain fell too

Not sure how much Mansfield got today, it was pretty warm here this morning. They probably started with some rain, but definitely switched to snow at some point. We barely got a dusting.

So today's 'partly sunny' forecast has turned into huge snowflakes for the last two or three hours...got about an inch+ so far here in Waterbury Center, can only imagine how Mansfield is fairing right now.

Snowing pretty hard south of Burlington too. Roads are getting ugly.

I'd say we're close to 4" here, if not more.

And forecast calls for 48 tomorrow!
