We hit at least 85 down in Brattleboro on Tuesday - sticky, humid, and in the 60's Wednesday morning with early afternoon rain. Clouds burned off to a cool and pleasant 55 and sunny late afternoon. 50's and sunny again today. Buds on trees and bits of new grass starting to be noticeable. Hello, Spring! Finally!

Amazing heat... Cold front coming but the southerly surge of heat is incredible.

We must be in the Warm Season judging by lack of posts in here... Oh wait, what warm season? LOL

These are the current temps at 10,000 feet. No way for the surface to warm up with a cold airmass like that above in the Northeast. The sun will have to do its thing..

Snow in Quebec and mountains of Southern California today. Also West Virginia.

Can you guys post any discussion from NWS Burlington or forecasts?

Weather was nice for a bit...and then not so much (absence of sun-every day being forecast as having "chance of rain").

Know this is the blahblah from Keene NH, but that's nearest NWS to my corner of VT.

Got a vivid double rainbow at 7 p.m. last Tuesday (May 2, 2017)-

Spoiler

Nice!! Yeah, I've had precip almost every day for past 3 weeks. Depressing Spring pattern.

Looks like Burlington "slowly" gets back to normal after this week. Normal is mid 60s so its going to be below normal all week and maybe next weekend too.

We had about two hours of sun on Saturday which was nice, though everything is a soggy mess. 35 and drizzling here this morning. Depressing as all get out lol. OH and the bugs were out in full force on Saturday - we missed our window to do yard work bug free!
