I think in the long run though, we're still going to be at least a week or two early for peak season. We might hit that this weekend.

this is what The Weather Channel told my iPad the current temp. was, here, on Sunday afternoon.

Hadn't gotten this hot any day all summer, appears we're getting it late this year.
Many leaves have turned color and/or have already fallen off the trees, making sidewalks sound very crunchy & crackly.

Ridiculous outside again today.

Feels like mid 90s in Northern Vermont

I just happened across this analysis of the "Pi Day" (03/14/2017) snowstorm, and am posting the link in case anyone else wants to look at it and remember it!

Last 4 hr Radar Loop with metars. 4-8pm.

Some spots can get heavy at times. Looks like its missing northern VT though. Things end by sunrise and then gradually clears

Gorgeous sunny morning here today, but chilly. Got some frost on the lawn and the roof.

Sweet. Sounds like a refreshing morning. What has been you're lowest temp so far this season and what day? Question goes for anyone reading this.

I didn't realize there were 30s around this morning in New England.

We hit 34 a few weeks ago...last night was 37, though we had more frost last night than when it was 34.

Another cold night tonight but then we warm up again early next week.

Sometimes that happens especially the further into the season we go. Might of been less moisture on ground few weeks ago OR just didn't get cold enough at the surface itself.

As you said, another cold one tonight.. Current Alerts.. Frosty night and morning coming up for most of MA, NH & VT and parts of CT, NY & Maine. Cover those sensitive plants.

6am Temps this morning October 13th. What's up with Burlington. I been following them closely for past 2 yrs and they just always seem on the high side. Sad.

I would guess low elevation combined with the lake keeps things warmer there...

We're at 30 this morning. Frost all around. And so it begins!
