I'm not sure about a community garden. I was thinking more of single-family homes. One per acre.

Class 520 is coming to College Park next to Casey's Coffee and Jumbo Jumbo. College Park seems to be quickly becoming an Asian food haven.

Here is an article about the one in Bethesda.

https://bethesdamagazine.com/bethesd...k-in-bethesda/

The LaTAO Hot Bowl restaurant with Karaoke has yet to open in the Enclave student apartments near Lidl. Also, there is an Asian "food hall" opening up opposite Dunkin Donuts in Terrapin Row with Cheers Cut, Poki District and Gong Cha.

Qu Japan, Red Boat, Ten Asian Food Hall, SeoulSpice, and CB Chinese Grill are recent additions as well.

Developing 6 homes would not have made financial sense for a developer unless they already owned the land for a long time. A developer probably wanted to buy it & rezone it for townhomes. Getting rid of that lot would have displaced a lot of deer.

A real estate agent said that Amazon employees, priced out of Virginia, are looking over to Northern PG. So it's good that the headquarters will have some positivity around here, even though I still think they should have relocated in this area.

College Park Metro Apartments by Gilbane.

Is it me or does it seem like they can do better with the design? I mean, I know it's hard to make a building a block long look good. But, I feel like along with different facades they could do different heights to make it look more like three buildings instead of one.

I liked their original renderings. The renderings in the PDF below look affordable housing-ish. The building is big enough to have two lobbies. One at the east end and one at the west end.

The design isn't particularly impressive, but it's ok. Somebody needs to ask this developer what's going on with the Riverfront at West Hyattsville that their website still says they should start selling townhouses by end of 2017 and that site is all rocks and rubble. Hopefully they do better in CP.

Bobby Burger Place abruptly closed for good in CP....now we don't have any good fast casual places to get a burger that I can think of except Elevation Burger in all of Hyattsville, Riverdale, and College Park combined.

I was surprised it lasted that long. Parking is horrendous behind those apartments. I'm not sure why those parking spaces weren't designated for retail only and then let visitors to the apartments park in the gated parking with validation.

Also, the new apartments burning down delaying more potential customers didn't help. While I'll miss Bobby's, Habit Burger is real nice sans the alcoholic shakes.

here ya go:
