Portsmouth according to AccuWeather.com (Though not sure if it's totally reliable!) has had:

May
: Just 2 days (though makes sense as Portsmouth was unseasonably overcast in May)
Portsea May Weather 2014 - AccuWeather Forecast for City of Portsmouth United Kingdom

June: 24 days (Slightly above average for June considering the average is around 19 to 20 (67 to 69) degrees)
Portsea June Weather 2014 - AccuWeather Forecast for City of Portsmouth United Kingdom

July: 30 days (Probably around average for the amount of days above 68, but many days where above 25c - meaning a warmer than av month)
Portsea July Weather 2014 - AccuWeather Forecast for City of Portsmouth United Kingdom

August: 26 days (Was the coldest August in 21 years, 5 days where below 68, and many days just hovered around the 68 mark)
Portsea August Weather 2014 - AccuWeather Forecast for City of Portsmouth United Kingdom

So far this September: 8 days (pretty normal for early September, though been very overcast for the time of year, so temps could have been much better than what they have been if sunnier)
Portsea September Weather 2014 - AccuWeather Forecast for City of Portsmouth United Kingdom

Total so far: 90 days

Though worth mentioning again that AccuWeather may not be that reliable. The averages shown at the bottom are at least 2c lower compared to Solent's average figures, Southsea's old stations figures where slightly higher than Solent and Portsmouth city, away from the sea, would be around half a degree or so higher than Southsea... So if AccuWeather got the average figures wrong then that leads me to believe that perhaps the stats I've shown above are wrong to...

The statistic I find most bizarre, is that we have had 31 days, or a month's worth of 25C+ temperatures so far, yet just 1 day above 30C.. other areas nearbye and even Portsmouth recorded several more, it just goes to show how this year has been mostly (except May and August) consistently above average by a bit, without anything special

That's kinda how I like it. Warm and sunny, but, by all means, not that hot... Just wished it happened in May (as my bro was leaving me to Aus ), and continued into August (As it's the holiday season).
March and April where quite sunny(ish), and mild months, UK wide, as well...

We had 40, which is a very high number considering the 70 days above 20C. The second half of June and August were just so crappy.

March and April were lovely, especially the first week of March with the warm sunshine.. Spring started right on time this year, and I was in my shorts a few days in March which was great
