Both of our dream climates have the exact same sunset time for today. Of course mine has a much lower sun angle and earlier sunrise. My fictional climate is probably at 62 N, making the sun angle at solar noon at 31-32 degrees I would guess (Your climate is at 28 N).
Your climate's highest sun angle on September 14 is lower than mine gets all year!
Yep the highest sun angle on December 21 in my climate is 38°
On December 21 the highest sun angle is 4 degrees.

Conditions: Mostly Cloudy
Winds: NW at 22 mph G 34 mph
Wind Chill: 17 F (-8 C)

Conditions will clear out overnight, but the wind will keep temperatures from falling too much. Predicted low is 24 F (-4 C).
Today broke a record for record low max for September 14, with a max of 32 F (0 C). It breaks the old record of 35 F that was set on September 14, 1966. It also marks the first "ice day" of the year. It's about 2 weeks earlier than average, average first sub-freezing max usually occurs on September 30. Models predict that this fall/winter is going to be well below normal and one of the coldest in the last 20 years.
Fall colors were at their peak before today but the strong wind gusts blew a lot of leaves off. Still about only 10% bare and 90% with brilliant fall colors.
