This winter has been pure chaos. It's been very warm for a month, now the next several days will be frigid, and next Friday is forecasted to have a low of -12°C and a high of 8°C. If this is what US East coast weather is like every winter, I feel for you guys.

Interesting, is that even possible? Is there a cloud in the sky anywhere? My software is down and I'm too lazy to pull up the Satellite or radar anywhere.

I can't believe the best part of the storm is going to miss me to the south again. Kind of a bummer. We're only supposed to get 1 to 3 inches now. All this winter we've seemed to overperform when it comes to snow totals, though, so I wouldn't be surprised if that turns into 4 or 5 inches. I hope it does. Two weeks ago seems like the exact same type of situation and we managed to get 5.5 inches out of it.

Does winter ever end in the Northern US? At least you're rewarded with a good summer I guess.

I say this after I've cut my lawn for the 3rd time already this spring on a lovely 18C day. The next door neighbours have some friends over for a BBQ too. People just seem to have more life and energy in spring!

I hadn't been following the latest, did it trend even more south? Well, Blue skies over me says it all for you. High pressure keeping the system to the south.

Take a look at NWS Snow Total forecast from 4 Offices. 10-14" higher elevations of West Virginia.
They are thinking 4-10" for parts of Virginia and even to the coast.
