Yes but look at the models a few days ago they reflected what would be lows in the 30s for the miami area.
Yeah, that's why it has to be a religion. You have to stay on top of them to see the trend either way or notice the constant changes especially that far out. I haven't looked so cant comment on whats being shown for down there.
All I know is this is my forecast.
Sunday sunny with snow cover and then more snow after.
No big warm-up in sight next 2 weeks still getting towards mid February. I see 2 potential cold blasts.
Here's future radar loop from WRF. I see snow over Mexico and snow breaks out for Baltimore/Philly/PA after midnight Saturday changes to rain by 7am for southern NJ.

So any snow will be hard to melt coming up.
I hate the stupid GFS always getting my hopes up with this BullSh**! I mean this shows 0C low for miami feb 5! As a side note I have discovered that If northerly winds are in place the 925_temp_ht reflects accurate LOWS for my location.

Haha. You're feeling the frustrations already. Lol less headaches just watching forecasts change instead which might not be so drastic. That 0C has to be the 850 level. No?? So not the low for Miami. Plus wow your in fantasy land that far out. Do not look at details that far out.

Thats my point. It IS fantasy land. Just pisses me off to see it. And yes it is actually reflecting a 0c low that is the most extreme run I have ever seen just about on par with the cold wave of 2010 which provuced a low of 32.3F at my recidence. For this impeding cold front (a few days away) the model is reflecting between 9C and 12C with NNW winds and the forcast for my area is 11C/19C with NNW winds
We are very desperate for cold weather down here in Florida. Any forecast showing cooler temperatures is reason for hope, no matter how far out it is. AJ1013 thinks Miami is going to magically get a freeze this winter. We haven't even got below 43, and that was in early November!

I dont THINK we will. I WISH we see some cold weather! But if this forcast magically panned out I believe Miami would see 32F lows. However even the 51/67 forcasted for my area early next week is reason to rejoice. This past week we have been seeing mostly 67/77 with sickeningly moist air. That record breaking cold front Nov 2 (49 low here broke record by 4) had me thinking we were in for a nice winter...
