There is no dig...no cold bleed down this year except the one we had 3 weeks ago which I ended up going below freezing with.
So you're basically saying no arctic fronts in the eastern US for the rest of the calendar year? Pattern has a vastly different look already with a more persistent stronger eastern Pacific trough. The arctic air coming down cross-polar does not appear to be weakening the strength of the lows too much so far.

Next week there is a dig but look at the crazy differences. GFS left. EURO right.

And its nothing impressive. Just cold/chilly.

I'm thinking mid month we get another impressive arctic dig. Historic Lake Effect snows last year mid November ... can we keep that trend?

Might be premature to say but ............ Are you guys ready for another above normal month?! Will we get to Top 10?

After next weeks 1-2 day cold, it's looking like the warmth returns.

Still warm and muggy in southeast Florida. It is most hated.

No hope in sight either.

I don't see any frost coming soon, at least for the next week or two.

Average first frost is November 19.

The grass is looking pretty green right now, compared to what it was a little over a week ago before the heavy rainfall. Some trees are showing fall foliage, but many trees haven't changed much yet. I think the dryness earlier this fall was causing some trees to lose leaves prematurely.

I'm noticing that some leaves of the broccoli plants and other plants are turning yellow due to all of the recent rain.

Wow, this is the chart of the day right here. Winter weather will be on hold for weeks in the US at the very minimum..
