Very surprising for this time of year there. Average high is about 74 F with an average low of 50 F. I highly doubt they've experienced these conditions in November before.

Surely a 100 F+ heat index is not common in Georgia this time of the year. Seems quite unusual. Record highs in Waycross are generally in the upper 80s for November.

Heavy rains have moved in. An almost tropical-like torrential downpour.

Funny, because the original forecast yesterday kept the rains to my northwest today.

See that blob just NW of Savannah right now? That's over me.

You're sandwiched between the real Tropical weather and the Fall like weather. Its 60s and cloudy in Atlanta and Upper 80s in SE GA.

?

Jacksonville max today was 88F.

Number of times hitting 85F+ November 1-15 period....they haven't done it since 2008 and take a look at how many other times they have. This is 85°+. Normally once.. Wonder how many more times they will this month

Well,it is highly unusual. The strength of the sun at that very low latitude cannot be underestimated, though.

They actually hit 89F @ 13:56. Significant because the record high for the month of November is 88F, so it's been broken.

Damn, that's just unbelievable. And Jacksonville really isn't that far from here, as the crow flies.

It's a bit warm here though, at 63. Indoor temp is 66, and it's quite damp inside. Much too warm to turn on the heat to dry things out - will have to wait until it clears and dries out enough for me to open the windows.

Interesting. It reached 63 F/17 C here as well today. Now it's down to 59 F/15 C.

That heat down south will be coming up here as well, but obviously much more moderated with highs around 70 F/21 C this week.

That's odd, since it's only supposed to get up to 70 this week, even with the sun. Looks like the heat is being spread nice and thin...lol.

Gees. Wow. Nice catch. They didn't even hit 88 in October. Look how weird that 89 will look on this graph.. (Choose November) IEM :: Site Info: JAX JACKSONVILLE INTL

Current Upper flow.. Can you get any more zonal than that across the top half of U.S? Damn Pacific!

That Cut Off low over Texas actually giving them below normal temps, basically that kink in the Jet stream will flatten out and the SouthEast ridge will start to pop north.

Zonal = Seasonably warm.
Ridge = Torch.

That's why Northeast wont feel the 70s until it pops up mid week. I'm moving to Quebec. lol
