Depends. If I have a normal autumn, I'll probably get my first freeze in mid-November. If it ends up being another one of those nasty Bermuda High ridge-type autumns, then I probably won't get it until the first week of January.

Solid zone 11A winter! I would love to get a solid zone 10A winter at least! I'll take a wild guess for first 36, November 2, first 32, November 17.

Time to predict my 1st frost and freeze again this year. This summer the lows are quite cooler this year and it is around average. I think Santa Maria will see its 1st frost by late October or early November.

Last year I made a very safe and reasonable prediction and our first freeze ended up arriving super early, I'm not jinxing it again.

Yes, in zone 9, but I think the 1st frost will earlier than normal this year.
