According to Cambium, we shouldn't post "red average maps" or use the word "torch" (even though he does even in winter) because above average still means heaters for many of us at night this time of year, and is somehow not painting a true picture...

Above average at least until the middle of November here.

Temps dive late Saturday once cold front passes; gusty

Lets just show red average maps constantly day after day and ignore the fact that its going to be cold and chilly and frosty and snowy. Sure.

Those are incredibly warm 8 AM temps for Michigan.

Warm, gloomy, and windy this morning

76F right now with overcast and passing showers. I haven't seen the sun in 3 days . Looks to be moving in the right direction though.

Mega torch pattern the next two weeks! All of the U.S except for Florida looks to be above average, many areas by as much a 10-15F! Here's the 6-10 day:

And the 8-14 day...Unending mildness/warmth for 95% of the country although the east looks a bit less above average for this time frame.

Aren't those temps west of Rochester and in the midwest like 20F above average?

All we're missing is a blue blob over Cali/Washington and it would be an A+ forecast
