Suburbs aren't very natural if you have to get in a car to go anywhere and can't walk anywhere.
That does suck about most suburbs, but I used to have to travel for quality food/clothing/etc. when I lived in Queens so Long Island wasn't much different in that regard. And as someone who's used to relying on unreliable public transportation, I don't mind driving. There isn't any amount of traffic that's worse than being stuck in a dark tunnel in a packed, sweat-smelling cattle car with a hundred other people.

I'm honestly not the biggest fan of Long Island, it's way too sprawled out, but I do prefer it over NYC. And my old commute entirely within Queens (via bus) was roughly 30 minutes longer (one way) than my current Suffolk-Queens commute via car. And besides, many people don't even work in the city, I know plenty of people that can walk/bike to work.

That's what you get when your best drivers can only make left turns.
Finnish drivers are all robots and don't make mistakes (apart from driving for Ferrari).
And we pay the price for that having the same amount of traffic deaths per capita as France. Worth noting also that Finland has extremely strict DUI laws, so people just play Mika Häkkinen and kill themselves.
It has been like 22C outside the last few days. 26C inside and the second coldest thing after the fridge are the radiators. F**king hate this apartment complex.
Blah. Got very little sleep last night and I'm feeling rather grouchy today. Wah.
