Could you tell me how you disern between a New Zealand and an Australian accent? I have one Australian and one New Zealand lecturer and they both sound the same?
I used to share a house with somebody from New Zulland, among other things he used to pronounce my name as Bin. If he's tupical I'm surprised you find it thit dufficult to till the two iccents apart.
He also claimed to have gone for a night out drinking in Auckland once and then woken up in Sydney with no idea how he got there - do we believe him lol?

Yeah, there's a lot of Aussies in England. Obviously, they come here because of the Commonwealth.. but you know, it's a long distance to travel for university.

Those things happen. I remember a story in the news a couple of years ago. Some fella from Manchester had gone out for a drink with his mate after work. The next morning he woke in a public toilet in Paris
