Paris has to be one of the most beautiful cities on earth. At least that's what anyone I know says who has ever visited.


And Normandy wow. Can you imagine the courage to storm those beaches with really well trained German troops and SS killers lined up against you, Ugh. Greatest Generation.

Thanks!! It was a very nice trip.

I spent more time in London then Paris. I think high temps were around 70F each day in London (sunny the first day I was there, then after returning from France there were periods of rain)

2nd frost of the season, 1st freeze. Air temp dropped to 30F, my garden is officially dead now


Went hiking in the Laurel Highlands yesterday, foliage is peaking at 2000', past peak above 2500', and still a bit green below 1000'

Nice Maple Tree peaking (~1900' in elevation)


Laurel Mountain, very sunny day yesterday (top elevation 2950', canyon below is about 1100')


Found a nice little waterfall to eat lunch at
