^Well March was terrible here (3.5c above average) , but April has been good (1c below average) and I have pretty high hopes for May based on the models. Just riding my bike every day to enjoy the weather.

Check out this map for May 10. The Continental Divide is like a line in the sand between warm to the west and cold to the east.

Up to about Northern BC/Southern Yukon anyways, where it then seems to go east of the Divide (most of Yukon and the Northern 1/3 of Alaska are east of the Continental Divide)

I am worried about that period. Plants will be getting a growth burst this weekend but I will wait to transplant the rest.

Here's a look at the Avg Temp departures for the month of April since 2013. For CT, and many others ,6 of the last 8 Aprils have been below normal. 2018 was the coldest of the bunch.

6-9° below normal past 2 weeks made it a Top 10 Coldest 2nd half of April for these locations.

Caribou, Bangor, Portland, Concord, Boston, Worcester, Providence, Hartford, Bridgeport, Islip, Newark, Syracuse, Binghamton, Scranton, Philly, Atlantic City....(NYC was 11th coldest)

Literally the only place as cool as me is Maine. Even f****** Buffalo and Rochester have a higher temperature forecasted than me
Some of WV is cooler than you too. We had a high around 50F today, with overcast skies and a mist of rain at times.
