Will be driving to San Antonio Friday and staying until Sunday morning. Then headed back to Chicagoland.

Yes it's bone dry here too with humidity at like 7%. I would say that 101F here in Phoenix feels like about 90 back in Chicago. If you're sitting in the sun it's a lot stronger here being that it's at a lower latitude. I certainly can feel the difference.

Trash weather back home

Let me put it this way
101 here in June will feel like 90f in chitown
July 92-94f
August 91-92f
You'd love June and August here. July, not so much, but it wouldnt be hellish to you.

88f @1:30pm Fresno slightly cloudy
If these clouds don't get pushed away, it probably won't get higher than 92f today.

Edit: morning sunrise, but it didn't last.
Clouds and haze have set in and are obscuring the view. Hoping for some strong winds in the upcoming days to get rid of the haze.

Reached 19c in Montreal today, but only 14c in NYC and just 11c here at KISP.

Seems like WI and IL were the coolest places in the lower 48 today though.

It was supposed to get to 92/93 today(even 95f predictions were made not long ago)
It's 88f @5pm, cloudy and breezy. Turned off the a/c and am going enjoying it.
I'll take this kind of surprise.

Missed our record (also a tie for the all time record for the month) by 1°F. High was 104°F, still 103°F now, heat index only 98°F though

My guess is a switch to above average will happen sometime in May. Probably more towards the end. It may be wet and cooler than average now but soon the Midwest and northeast will bake for summer I think due to El Niña. I can feel it. It’s seems to be developing. That also means a more active Atlantic hurricane season too. Could get interesting this year, especially with Covid19 going on.

Crazy. And judging by what I see happening here next 10 days I assume the heat will continue there. Hopefully you guys can get convective precip to fall
