Really? Because I had to go to Prescott back in February when they had 6 inches of snow fall and the roads were slippery as hell. I think I have a better idea than you do. They average close to 2 feet of snow per winter
A good rule of thumb here in AZ is if the average low of a place is below 40°F, there is a chance it can see snow, and if their average low is below 32°F, odds increase to 50/50.
The only places in this state that get "hardly any snow" but more than zero are like Tucson and Superior and Kingman
That is true that some years Prescott can see a few decent snow events, other years they might not see much at all. That is still very little snow compared to many other places that see consistent snow every winter. Also, the summer high temperatures in Prescott are infinitely cooler than Phoenix and the lows are massively cooler as Phoenix has a massive urban heat island. Even Tuscon has more tolerable lows as elevation is greater there and far less asphalt and concrete.

I like our warm mornings. Especially since I usually start work at 1am, so by the time the sun comes up, I've already been working 4-6 hrs depending on time of year. We're finally to that point of the year where the morning/nights are warm enough I don't need a jacket at all, and I love it. It only lasts til mid October. It has to be 65°F+ when the sun is down to go without a jacket for most of us here, we do acclimate
In Prescott, even in summer I would need a coat between about midnight and sunrise, as their avg lows are mainly in the 50s during summer, similar to our mornings in March and November

Temps in the 50s outside going to 60s with sun!! PERFECT. Just gimme the sun in spring. Enjoy the day guys! NorEaster off the coast and a system coming from the west. Squeezed in the middle today.
I have to enjoy because we only get 1 day in a row with sun lately. lol.
Just looked at the updated NWS 7 day back in Rochester f.s.a.g., and looks bad after Thursday. They're predicting upper 40's for Monday and Tuesday! Average high is around 65°F then and Rochester usually doesn't see any highs below 50°F in May. So that's even bad for their standards

Lows in the 40's and 50's in the summer is about what I prefer, I dislike any lows above 65 degrees.

I'm praying for an extended cooldown.
It's not going to happen. NWS update is already calling for another SW ridge by Tues in California and Wed here, it will put us back in record territory again

Yeah, it was off. The month though, even though below average still is quite nice. 62 today here near Albany which is around average and should be closer to above average the next week. So the cool air will not be as bad this time around I do believe. I’d rather have this than 80’s and humidity like in the summer which can be brutal here. Sometimes 90’s. 70’s and 60’s with dry air is perfect really lie, we have in spring, especially in May.
Meanwhile back in the Midwest it's storming in Chicago.

Hehe, that's summer out here
Lots of upper 90s/low 100s
Upper 60s/low 70s low
From mid June to late August
Edit: any cooldowns we get are still warm, but they feel amazing cause they're almost always bone dry
Upper 80s-low 90s are cooldowns here.

Fresno
Tomorrow is going to be a warm one
