Upper 80s-low 90s are cooldowns here.
There's actually one difference I left out: summer dewpoints will be higher here than what PHX is getting right now, but some years it isn't much of a difference.

Somewhere in Bolu Provice had the coldest low in Turkey today with -6.3°C.

Somewhere in Muğla Province had the warmest low in Turkey today with 18°C.

Lowest temperatures in Turkey today differ from -6.3°C to 18°C.

Glancing at Detroit ... You have to admit its impressive. 43.2°F in 2020 is 7th coldest for April 15-28 period. The colder yrs were back in late 1800s and early 1900s. 146 yrs of records and only 6 were colder than 2020

Not impressed? How about Hartford? Can't believe I'm mentioning this kind of cold again in Spring. What is it with Spring?

Will be driving to San Antonio Friday and staying until Sunday morning. Then headed back to Chicagoland.

Fresno
Tomorrow is going to be a warm one
Yes it's bone dry here too with humidity at like 7%. I would say that 101F here in Phoenix feels like about 90 back in Chicago. If you're sitting in the sun it's a lot stronger here being that it's at a lower latitude. I certainly can feel the difference.

Trash weather back home

If it does stay dry during the next couple weeks or longer and we transition to La Nina, this may bring hotter temps for the Midwest summer

Another unseasonally cold day here (didn't even check the temperature, but the high was probably around 7C/45F) but we did have some pretty impressive hail showers today. The weekend is looking ok weather wise, but after thats its most likely below average cool weather again. Then again, the GFS is super confused at the moment and can't decide where the pressure anomalities are gonna be over Europe for May. I'm just hoping that we're done with sub 10C/50F cold shots for the season
