Whatever IE means. No rain again today and Fred is dead pretty much as a lop sided system so no chance it will do much for me. Land masses and upper levels won't be on it's side.

Another steam bath today with possible severe weather yet again and maybe one more 90 degree temp tomorrow before we cool off and dry out

temps normal to maybe a little above or even maybe a little below for my region in the 6-10 according to the GEFS

The Euro has it a little above normal

However the GEFS has a pretty impressive heat ridge by the following Friday

CFSv2 more aggressive with the heat

Temps climbed into the low 90s with mid-70s dewpoints yesterday. Heat index in the peak of the afternoon was in the 105F range. Once again this morning temps starting off in the mid-70s with dewpoints in the low 70s. This time we're included in the heat advisory today. Yesterday it was to our west and north even though the situation is similar to yesterday. Highs in the low 90s with dewpoints in the mid-70s leading to heat index in the 105F range. Tomorrow once again looks to be a copycat of today and yesterday. I can't wait for this weekend when we'll get a break and get our highs back down in the low 80s for a bit.

Maybe Fred will drench you late this weekend/early next week. Trying to think positive for you!

Relating to the same heat dome bringing the incredible temperatures to Sicily are the incredible temperatures yesterday in Tunisia. Almost exceeds 50C.

Mediterranean Hot Wave day # 3-Today 10 August was another historic day in #Tunisia. Both the capital Tunisia and the city of Bizerte had their hottest day in history with the same temperature of 48.9C. (also recorded at Beja). More details to come ....

That Rochelle, IL dewpoint of 86F was literally insane. 126F heat index, no one should have been doing any work outside during that time period.

$%#$ humidity here, 75F low temperature which is extremely warm for this area as I had low temperatures in the 50's last week.

Here it is:
https://w1.weather.gov/data/obhistory/KRPJ.html

Similarly extreme elevated dewpoints were found in the 1995 Chicagoland heat wave.

Storm nearby there right now.

I'm beginning to think you may live in FL's only designated desert. How unlucky can one man be? I've been caught in more thunderstorms this year than I care to mention.
