We picked up 1.4” of snow overnight, with a liquid equivalent of 0.11” (12.7:1 ratio). I’m jealous of everyone in the coastal Northeast and hope you guys pickup some decent totals.

At 11:43 am it is sunny, with not a single cloud in the sky, and a temperature of 14F. It isn’t very often that it is this cold around noon when there is full sun. Tonight’s forecast low is anywhere between 6F and 14F depending on what source you use.

Algonquin Park -36.2 °C
Bancroft -36.7
Burlington Lift Bridge -16.9
Guelph -29.9
Hamilton Airport -21.1
King City -24.7
Barrie -29.4
London Airport -24.2
Peterborough Airport -33.5
St. Catharines -12.6
Toronto Buttonville (Markham) -23.4
Toronto Island -16.5
Toronto Pearson -20.8
Uxbridge -29.8
Waterloo Airport -28.7
It was -15C here when I checked at 9:15am. That compared to -16.5C at 9am and -15.1 at 10am at Burlington Lift Bridge; -16.3C at 9am and -14.8C at 10am at Toronto Island Airport; and -17.3C at 9am and -15.3C at 10am at Toronto Annex. So slightly milder than other waterfront locations here. I'd guess most of the Toronto-Hamilton waterfront had a low of -17C to -16C.

Damn, coldest here in Toronto's western suburban waterfront this winter so far has been about -1F to 0F. In northern suburbs here, the lowest temps this winter might've been more in the -10F to -5F range though, with this morning falling into that range.

GFS says 21 inches of snow for me 14 inches at Midway 11 inches at ORD. I wish but we all know this is model nonsense for now
