What's up with those horrible hours that 12 bones has? They are only open for lunch and a very early dinner.
I agree. It used to be even earlier. I think it's because they make more than enough revenue during those hours. It would be nice even if they expanded hours on the weekends til at least 9 and be open on Saturday's. We've had guests from out of town and couldn't take them because they weren't open.

12 Bones doesn't have a location on Young Street. Their locations are at 5 Foundy Street and 3578 Sweeten Creek Road. Also, they are open from 11:00 AM until 4:00 PM, and for take-out only from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM, Tuesday through Saturday.
Am I the only one who finds 12 Bones not all it's cracked up to be? Not horrible, not bad just not the fantastic bbq that I was expecting based on reviews.
Good to have opinions . I don't think bonfires all that ether . Porks good enough to buy and take home for sandwichs but the ribs !! I'll not go back for a meal .
BBQ around his tend to a loose mix of old style and some "chefs" twist about how to make old school side better or worse depending on each persons point of view OR you get some that buy there side straight a suppliers truck or grocery and do nothing but keep it ether cool or warmed up so they can serve it .
I still make a trip down to Green River BBQ in Saluda . They do have a large group menu that's a bit limited but for a family meal it serves meals like you could have found 35 or 40 years ago , just good food with no surprises .
For you BBQ fans wait till you screw up and go into a eastern NC bbq where cold slaw is red using the same vinegar pepper based junk they soak or float the bbq in . That stuff will make you ask how there BBQ is done years later in any time you go to a new bbq joint ..
We gave our large smoker to our girls to use as they wish . Its trailer mounted so easy to move . We scaled down to a weber 18" smokey mountain smoker with a guru guys party-q fan and controller . Start your fire set the temp and go do something for the day , meat will be fine .

12 Bones' Foundy Street location is not coming up with the United States Postal Service or Mapquest.
The times remain correct. The difference is using a 24-hour clock rather than a 12-hour clock.
