I don't have any good pizza places near me. I moved here from Chicago, and I'm very spoiled from the great pizza there.

The best pizza I have ever had is very thin crust and greasy but delicious. It’s a small Italian restaurant on the north side of Racine. If the name comes to me I will post it.

Jim Mac, good day.

What would be the closest to "good" pizza near you?

And I'm curious: what was your favorite, in Chicago?

Teacher Terry, thank you.

I am on board with thin!! ..... I read that Racine had its share of Italian settling at the turn of the century.

Definitely share the name when you remember. The only name I can think of, when I think of Racine area is: De Rangos.

Team, I had Balisteris last night on 68th Street in Wauwatosa.

Thin! Thin! Thin!

I ordered extra tomato sauce and those slices still held up. THAT is a sign of a well made pie!

Since you mentioned Chicago, I’ll throw in Phil’s Pizza near the White Sox stadium. If you crave Chicago-style pizza, it’s a good place to go. Friendly wait staff there also.

Star691, good day.

I dont know Phil's. Is it near Armour Square Park? That park area I do know!

But let's try not to mention those Illinois heathens, who claim they are the only ones with good pizza!!!

As I sit here, in The Shanty, in Wadsworth, Illinois. LOL!

But it's for a delicious fish dinner, and not pizza.

Phil’s is closer to Bridgeport, on W 35th about 7 blocks west of Halsted.

Never been to Maria’s. I happened to be in that area a while back, and decided to try Phil’s Pizza. Don’t have a favorite Wisconsin pizza place, but may try a couple that have been mentioned earlier in the thread.
