so if you drink water or coffee and have to pee, you are supposed to hold it until it's time for your break? LOL. i guess nobody should drink anything at all for 8 hours while they are on the clock out of fear of having to pee when it's not time for a break. you better not eat lunch either because if it doesn't agree with you, you are going to have to hold that bm until it is time for your break or until you get home. heaven forbid your menstrual period should start. you are just gonna have to wait until it's time for your break to go to the ladies room and take care of that. just let it flow all over your underwear, clothes and your office chair because you aren't allowed to go to the restroom until it's time for your scheduled break.

LMAO.

No one is forcing anyone to hold anything or not drink/eat anything. You just won't get a gift card if you use the restroom more than 6 minutes per day (not including lunch and breaks). You won't be fired or punished. You won't get a gift card.

That's not what the linked article says at all. If you don't use the rest room at all you get a gift card. If you use it more than 60 minutes over 10 days, you face a disciplinary process with firing as a potential penalty.

A person would have to be desperate to work for such an employer. This is sadistic.

Mr_Geek, nineteen people have already been disciplined, according to this article.

I continue to look for updates because I know this will be reversed at some point. Obviously those in charge are stubbornly holding fast to their idiocy.

If I had IBS or something and feared going over, I'd let my bowels loose right in my cubicle. That'll teach 'em!

Or, someone with Crohn's or ulcerative colitis emptying their ostomy bag right on the floor.
"It wasn't time for my 6 minute bathroom break. I had to do something."

A lot of people that work the line in slaughterhouses pee right where they stand/work. They get in big trouble for leaving the line.
