Thats what people from places like England always claim, without having any clue what it is like to freeze your butt off for most of your waking life. It is easy to make these claims when the temperatures are just numbers on a screen. Four seasons, maybe in Toronto and Montreal, Edmonton is just winter, crazy winter, light winter and spring.
I'm not an idiot I know how cold Edmonton's winters are however I'm a weather enthusiast and I love cold brutal winters, I enjoy every single aspect of a full four season climate and I tend not to like any weather all year round (e.g. Brisbane, Australia the weather doesn't change that much) but a variety instead.

Take your chances in Montreal or better yet Toronto during a winter first before graduating to an Edmonton winter
Yep, I'd actually prefer Toronto's climate over Edmonton's but if I would chose between Singapore or Edmonton for the climate? I'd chose Edmonton even with the brutal winters!

Well my friend - you are a hearty individual.. Perhaps we'll cross paths one day at LHR. You on your way to Edmonton while I catch my connecting flight to Singapore
I like 4 seasons too, but the Winnipeg winters are a bit over the top. Toronto's or Windsor's winters are great, though.
